This prenatal consult builds on the breastfeeding class and takes into account your personal history and breastfeeding goals. We will discuss your medical history, risk factors for breastfeeding challenges, and delivery implications on breastfeeding. A personalized care plan on how to navigate the early postpartum days will be provided.
This virtual consult would be helpful if you have had/are:
First time breastfeeding mom
Difficulty breastfeeding or low milk supply with another child
Previous child with oral restrictions / tongue tie
Gestational Diabetes
Expecting a small for gestational age/IUGR baby
Previous breast or nipple surgery

This virtual or in-person visit will include:
Personalized Assessment: This assessment will include factors such as medical history, delivery history, latch, positioning, milk supply, oral assessment, baby’s weight, infant feeding behavior, and any concerns or challenges you may be facing.
Individualized Care Plan: Based on the assessment findings, we will work closely with you to create a customized care plan tailored to your unique situation.
Ongoing Support: We provide ongoing support through follow-up consultations and are available for questions via email between appointments to address any questions or concerns that may arise.
Resource Sharing: Alongside your consultation, you will receive educational materials, resources, and references to help you continue learning about breastfeeding and baby care.
Pumping consult.
